About the Role

We are supporting a global technology consulting organization in identifying an experienced SAP EAM / EHSM Consultant to support a large-scale SAP AMS environment within the Oil & Gas industry.

This role will be responsible for SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and Environment, Health & Safety Management (EHSM) support, incident resolution, enhancements, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives across maintenance, reliability, asset performance, and safety management processes.

The successful candidate will work closely with business users, technical teams, and offshore support teams to ensure stable and efficient SAP operations.

Core Responsibilities

AMS Operations (L2/L3 Support)

• Manage incidents, service requests, and problem tickets within SLA timelines

• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions

• Provide application support during plant shutdowns, turnarounds, and maintenance activities

• Support critical business operations and ensure system availability

• Collaborate with offshore teams to ensure effective service delivery

SAP EAM Functional Support

• Support Maintenance Notification processes

• Manage Work Order Management and maintenance execution activities

• Support Task Lists, Maintenance Plans, and Scheduling processes

• Support Preventive and Predictive Maintenance initiatives

• Ensure asset master data integrity and maintenance process optimization

• Provide functional support for enterprise asset lifecycle management

SAP EHSM Functional Support

• Support Incident Management and investigation processes

• Manage Risk Assessment and Control activities

• Support Safety Observation reporting and compliance requirements

• Support Permit-to-Work (PTW) processes and safety workflows

• Assist business users in EHSM-related enhancements and issue resolution

Integration & Cross-Functional Support

• Support integration with SAP MM, PP, Finance/CO, and HSE modules

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve process and system issues

• Support GIS integration activities where applicable

• Collaborate with ABAP and technical teams for interface-related requirements

Enhancements & Continuous Improvement

• Gather business requirements and prepare Functional Specifications (FS)

• Support configuration updates and enhancement initiatives

• Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

• Support regression testing and deployment activities

• Recommend process improvements and automation opportunities

Documentation & Governance

• Maintain configuration documentation, process flows, and operational run books

• Support audit, compliance, and governance requirements

• Ensure quality and accuracy of asset master data

• Participate in knowledge transfer and continuous improvement activities

Requirements

• Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Asset Management, or related discipline

• Strong hands-on experience supporting SAP EAM (PM) and/or SAP EHSM

• Experience supporting AMS environments and L2/L3 support operations

• Good understanding of maintenance, reliability, asset management, and safety processes

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA environments is preferred

• Familiarity with shutdown, turnaround, and maintenance operations within industrial environments

• Experience supporting integrations with MM, PP, Finance/CO, HSE, or GIS solutions

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

• Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Utilities, Energy, or Manufacturing industry experience will be highly advantageous
