Introduction

Our client, a growing engineering and construction company based in Shah Alam, is seeking a hands-on Civil Engineer (CSA) to support project execution across civil, structural, and architectural works. This role offers strong exposure to site coordination and project delivery within an active project environment.

Overview

We are looking for a practical and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to support project execution and site coordination within active construction projects. The role focuses on site coordination, technical support, and project monitoring to ensure timely, safe, and high-quality delivery. 

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination & Execution

• Support planning and execution of construction projects in line with drawings, specifications, QA/QC standards, safety, and regulatory requirements

• Assist in monitoring project progress, site activities, and work completion timelines

• Supervise site activities, contractors, and subcontractors on assigned scopes

• Identify and resolve technical issues, discrepancies, and site challenges

• Ensure construction works are carried out according to approved drawings and specifications

Documentation & Technical Support

• Maintain project documentation including site reports, inspection records, and project updates

• Support preparation of progress reports and project coordination updates

• Assist in preparing tender documents, Bills of Quantities (BQ), and cost estimates

• Coordinate with draftsmen and project teams on technical drawings and site requirements

Stakeholder Coordination

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities on project matters

• Attend site meetings, inspections, and technical discussions

• Support coordination between project teams to ensure smooth project execution

Requirements

• Degree in Civil / Construction Engineering or equivalent

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in construction, infrastructure, or contractor environments

• Hands-on experience in site coordination and project execution

• Experience in CSA (Civil, Structural & Architectural) works is preferred

• Experience in electrical substation projects is an advantage

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

• Knowledge of Microsoft Project and AutoCAD is an added advantage

• Good understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and local by-laws

• Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia

• Able to work independently while coordinating effectively with project teams

• Possess own transport and willing to travel as required

Salary & Benefits

• Monthly salary: Up to RM7000 (commensurate with experience)

• Performance bonus (up to 1–3 months)
