We are seeking an experienced SAP HCM Consultant to support and lead SAP Human Capital Management (HCM) operations within a large enterprise AMS environment. The consultant will work closely with HR, Payroll, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure stable, compliant, and optimized SAP HCM support and service delivery.
Act as functional lead for SAP HCM within the AMS support environment.
Manage L2/L3 production support, incident resolution, and escalation handling.
Ensure SLA compliance, ticket quality, and service stability.
Lead and mentor junior HCM consultants and support analysts.
Provide support across key SAP HCM modules including Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), Time Management (TM), and Payroll.
Support issues related to Master Data, Time Evaluation, Payroll Processing, Infotype Configuration and Process Flows.
Perform functional analysis for schemas, PCRs, and business process enhancements.
Manage priority incidents, production issues, and root cause analysis (RCA).
Support change requests, testing, deployments, and enhancement activities.
Ensure timely implementation of statutory, payroll, and regulatory updates.
Support audit, governance, and compliance activities.
Work closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and business users to resolve functional issues and improve processes.
Support integrations with SAP FI, security roles, and third-party HR/payroll systems.
Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Identify opportunities to improve process efficiency, system stability, and automation.
Support transformation initiatives including ECC to S/4HANA HCM transitions and hybrid SuccessFactors environments where applicable.
Maintain functional specifications, SOPs, support documentation, and knowledge articles.
10+ years of SAP consulting experience with strong SAP HCM expertise.
Experience supporting SAP HCM AMS / production support environments.
Strong functional knowledge in PA, OM, TM, and Payroll.
Experience with incident management, change requests, and regulatory support.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Exposure to SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP SuccessFactors environments is an added advantage.
