About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP EAM / PM Consultant to support and lead SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and Plant Maintenance (PM) operations within a large enterprise environment. The consultant will work closely with maintenance, operations, engineering, and business stakeholders to support asset reliability, maintenance optimization, and enterprise support initiatives.

Core Responsibilities

SAP EAM / PM Functional Support & Configuration

·  Design, configure, and support SAP EAM / Plant Maintenance solutions.

·  Configure and support Equipment & Functional Locations, Maintenance Plans & Strategies, Preventive & Corrective Maintenance, Work Orders, Notifications & Confirmations, and Serial Number Management & Refurbishment Cycles.

·  Support master data governance and maintenance process optimization.

Oil & Gas Asset Management Support

·  Support maintenance operations across refineries, terminals, pipelines, offshore platforms, and production facilities.

·  Support shutdown, turnaround, and outage (STO) maintenance activities.

·  Align maintenance processes with upstream, midstream, and downstream operational requirements.

·  Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental standards.

SAP Integration & Process Coordination

·  Support integration between SAP PM and SAP MM, SAP FICO, SAP PS, and SAP IS-Oil modules where applicable.

·  Ensure data consistency, accurate maintenance cost tracking, and proper settlement processes.

Reliability & Maintenance Optimization

·  Support preventive and predictive maintenance initiatives.

·  Enable equipment history tracking, failure analysis, and maintenance reporting.

·  Support KPIs including MTBF, MTTR, asset availability, and maintenance cost optimization.

·  Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

Stakeholder Management & User Support

·  Work closely with maintenance planners, engineers, operations teams, and plant managers.

·  Conduct workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and solution discussions.

·  Support UAT, end-user training, and change management activities.

·  Act as a key functional contact for SAP EAM / PM support matters.

AMS Support, Governance & Documentation

·  Provide L2/L3 production support for SAP PM environments.

·  Troubleshoot configuration, master data, and transactional issues.

·  Prepare and maintain functional specifications, SOPs, support documentation, and knowledge base articles.

·  Ensure compliance with governance, audit, and internal control requirements.

Requirements

·  10+ years of SAP consulting experience with strong SAP EAM / PM expertise.

·  Experience in SAP Plant Maintenance configuration and enterprise support environments.

·  Strong understanding of maintenance operations and asset lifecycle management.

·  Experience supporting oil & gas, manufacturing, or heavy industry environments preferred.

·  Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

·  Experience with SAP S/4HANA environments is an added advantage.

·  Exposure to AMS / production support environments preferred.
